Jane Lewis was awarded a grant by Arts Council England to develop digital image-making and the prints available for sale in this gallery were created using computer software, allowing an intuitive and fluid means of drawing and painting directly on the computer screen. Digital technology has revolutionized the creation of fine art prints and printmaking, and working this way is as demanding and sophisticated as other artistic media. Jane's digital images have a quality both unique to digital art and yet recognizably of her oeuvre. The images are original and do not exist in any other form. Each image is professionally printed with archive quality ink on acid-free paper as a limited edition of fifty or one hundred prints.
